Job summary

Serenity Path Hospital in Winchester is seeking a Senior Nurse Practitioner to lead nursing care for adolescents within CAMHS inpatient services.

You will role model high standards of patient-centred care, support and mentor junior nurses, and coordinate shifts to ensure safe, responsive services for young people aged 13 to 18.

Set in picturesque grounds In Winchester, Serenity Path Hospital is an acute adolescent psychiatric service providing inpatient treatment for young people between the ages of 13 to 18 years.

As a Senior Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional patient centred care to our young people, while also supporting and mentoring junior nursing staff. You will act as a role model, support the running of shifts and co-ordinate nursing duties within the team.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly motivated and proactive nursing professional, ideally with some experience of working with children and young people, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

Individuals who do not have direct inpatient CAMHS experience but are able to demonstrate significant experience in other transferable areas of mental health or paediatrics are encouraged to apply.
