Job summary

Lead Nurse at Elysium Healthcare at Arbury Court in Winwick, Warrington, leads the hospital nursing team with visible clinical leadership and ensures high standards of patient care within policy and legislation. You will report to the Director of Nursing and support senior on-call duties.

You will bring NHS or Private Care senior leadership experience and drive improvements, working to develop services and staff within a supportive governance framework.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate qualification at degree level relevant to healthcare.
• Registered Nurse with the NMC.
• Significant post-registration clinical and leadership experience.
• Budgetary and financial management.
• Project management.
• Demonstrable operational leadership experience within a healthcare setting.
• Experience leading Nursing teams at a senior management level.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible clinical leadership across the hospital nursing team.
• Line manager to senior ward managers and manage day-to-day nursing operations.
• Participate in governance processes and present updates as required.
• Manage resources and supervise senior nurses within budget constraints.
• Lead multidisciplinary work and participate in on-call arrangements.
• Provide Director of Nursing with timely information for decisions.
