Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Lead Nurse to provide senior clinical leadership across the hospital nursing team in Warrington. The role includes on‑call involvement and responsibility for maintaining high standards of patient care within governance guidelines.

You will work with the Director of Nursing and senior managers to supervise senior nurses, manage resources, and develop the service to its full potential, with a focus on vulnerable service users.

Qualifications

• Post graduate degree in healthcare relevant field.
• Management qualification (DMS or equivalent).
• Registered Nurse with the NMC.
• Significant post-registration clinical and leadership experience.
• Budgetary and financial management.
• Project management.
• Demonstrable operational leadership in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible clinical leadership across the hospital nursing team.
• Lead and guide a team of nurses to deliver high‑quality care.
• Participate in senior on‑call arrangements.
• Formulate and present governance updates for hospital processes.
• Manage resources and supervise senior nurses.
• Liaise with the Director of Nursing and unit manager on decisions.
