Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear in Warrington is seeking a Principal Waste Consultant to lead strategic consultancy projects in spent fuels, nuclear materials and waste management. You will manage client relationships, mentor multidisciplinary teams, and drive business development for defence and civil nuclear customers.

The role is based in Warrington with hybrid working, 37 hours per week, and monthly travel to sites. You’ll require SC clearance and a strong track record in technical leadership and bid

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering and leading technical consultancy projects in nuclear waste management or spent fuels.
• Proven client-facing experience with UK civil/defence nuclear clients.
• Track record in scoping work, proposals and tender/bid processes.
• Experience mentoring and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and technical consultancy projects across nuclear waste management.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to identify opportunities and growth.
• Drive business development, pipeline development and bid/tender activities.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals and presentations to support delivery and contracts.
