Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Principal Waste Consultant for the Warrington, Cheshire site with hybrid working. The role combines technical leadership with consultancy and business development to support defence and civil nuclear clients.

You will manage complex projects, mentor teams, and build ongoing client relationships while delivering high-quality technical outputs and bids. A SC security clearance will be pursued, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical consultancy projects in nuclear materials or waste management.
• Proven ability to develop scopes of work, proposals, bids, and client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and technical consultancy projects across nuclear waste and materials management.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to identify opportunities and growth.
• Oversee business development activities including pipeline development and bid preparation.
• Prepare and review reports, proposals and bid documentation for project delivery and awards.
• Mentor and develop colleagues, providing technical leadership across teams.
