Job summary

Amey is seeking a Project Manager to support Nuclear Restoration Services across multiple sites, leading construction and engineering projects from mobilisation to closeout. You will manage safety, quality, programme and commercial performance while collaborating with clients, designers and contractors.

The role requires a strong construction background, CSCS and ideally SMSTS/IOSH/MCIOB, with NEC contract experience and a proactive, safety‑driven approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering construction or engineering projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Strong programme, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
• Construction background with CSCS card; ideally SMSTS/IOSH/MCIOB membership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple concurrent construction and engineering projects across Nuclear Restoration Services sites, ensuring safety, quality, programme and commercial performance.
• Work with clients to understand requirements, develop project briefs and support early-stage project definition.
• Visit sites to scope works, identify risks and support effective mobilisation.
• Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations, prepare cost estimates and support pre-construction planning.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, delivery strategies and project documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including designers, consultants, subcontractors, commercial, engineering, HSEQ and operations.
