Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester seeks an Advanced Clinical Technologist / Radiographer (Band 7) to join the Nuclear Medicine department. This role involves delivering diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services, supervising staff, and contributing to teaching and training within a busy multidisciplinary team.

You will work with SPECT-CT and PET-CT imaging, participate in clinical trials where relevant, and ensure adherence to IRMER and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant science subject and relevant nuclear medicine experience.
• PgDip or equivalent in Nuclear Medicine.
• Maintain or pursue membership/registration with professional bodies.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient investigations and treatments.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Carry out imaging procedures per protocols including QC of equipment.
• Provide supervision and training to junior staff and students.
• Participate in governance, audits and departmental quality activities.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team working within Nuclear Medicine.
