Responsibilities

• 1. Conducts patient investigations and treatments per written requests and procedures; liaises with doctors and researchers for proper study documentation.
• 2. Administers diagnostic tests with attention to IRMER guidelines; refers non-covered requests to ARSAC; schedules tests.
• 3. Performs imaging procedures, QC testing, positions patients, reviews results and determines if further imaging is needed.
• 4. Carries out IV administration and blood sampling, prepares references and analyses results with specialist equipment.
• 5. Handles departmental administration, staffing, and patient inquiries to ensure smooth service delivery.
• 6. Supervises and trains junior staff; participates in quality groups and educational activities.
• 7. Delivers governance and audit presentations; leads education of healthcare professionals; manages quality improvement projects.
• 8. Manages resources and ensures equipment and supplies are maintained for safe care.
