Job summary

Assystem UK Ltd is recruiting for an experienced engineering professional to lead the Stage 3 Define phase and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in Warrington. You will drive the appraisal of options, ensure design deliverables align with project schedule and risk considerations, and guide design assurance activities across the lifecycle.

The role requires nuclear sector experience, NEC3 knowledge, and a proven track record in regulated environments.

Qualifications

Engineering background with delivery experience on complex projects.
Proven ability to lead engineers and coordinate multi-discipline teams.
Experience in regulated environments, preferably nuclear.
Knowledge of NEC3 terms and system engineering approaches.

Responsibilities

Deliver Stage 3 Define phase in line with schedule and cost.
Drive teams to optimise Stage 2 appraise and select a preferred solution.
Complete preliminary design assurance activities per Risk-Based Assurance.
Act as AEM, leading multi-discipline teams for estimating, scheduling and deliverables.
Manage DSA teams producing project deliverables.
Allocate resources to meet deliverable requirements and timelines.
Interface with other Project Discipline Leads and site stakeholders.
Support Stage 4 delivery estimates and supplier engagement input.
Collaborate with construction, commissioning, pre-ops and client teams to meet requirements.
