Reporting to R&D, this role is for a New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to work within our design and development team on advanced laser products. You will collaborate with mechanical and optical teams to ensure design for manufacturing (DFX) is prioritized during development, providing feedback through prototype and pilot production, resolving issues, and preparing documentation, tooling, and training for manufacturing.
You will ensure product compliance to specifications, test products using HALT/HASS to identify weaknesses, and contribute to developing new processes and automation to enhance repeatability and reliability. The role involves achieving personal and team goals, adapting to changing priorities, and understanding critical needs.
