Job Description:

Senior NPD Technologist (New Product Development)

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:30

Cranswick Country Foods, Staithes Road, Preston, Hull, HU12 8TB

Main Duties Include (but not limited to):

• Product Development: Work closely with the NPD Chef and other teams to develop new concepts and ensure products meet specifications for consumer and business needs, focusing on quality and innovation.
• Customer Engagement: Act as a key contact for customers, participate in presentations, respond to feedback, and ensure effective communication throughout the product development process.
• Project Management: Manage development projects from customer brief to launch, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with technical, operations, and commercial teams to ensure smooth product launches and compliance.
• Cost Considerations: Ensure developments align with commercial requirements, manage ingredient costs, and publish accurate recipes for costing and approval.
• Market Insight: Stay informed on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitors, contributing to benchmarking and concept development.
• Launch Process Custodian: Oversee the product development process, ensure documentation accuracy, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
