Senior NPD Technologist

FMCG – Bakery products

The Role:

This is a newly created Senior NPD Technologist position reporting to the NPD Manager. The role involves achieving the NPD plan and driving business growth, requiring a solid understanding of recipe formulation, innovation insights, and the concept-to-launch process. The role includes scaling recipes from kitchen to factory and formulating products with functional ingredients, preservatives, and additives.

You should have:

• Previous experience in food technology
• A passion for bakery products
• Ability to identify food trends and leverage consumer insights for innovation
• Experience in factory trials, sample production, and customer presentations
• Strong knowledge of recipe formulation, food safety, and food additives & preservatives
• Excellent project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with a practical approach
• A passion for innovation and attention to detail
• A degree in Food Science or Food Tech

This position is site-based in North Wales and requires relocation if outside the daily commute to the client’s manufacturing site.
