Job summary

M&G plc, a leading UK financial services group, is seeking an Experienced Risk Analyst for Life NFR oversight. You will support non-financial risk governance, perform framework reviews and provide independent analysis across Life segments. You will partner with first-line risk teams and stakeholders to identify and escalate material concerns.

The role emphasizes training delivery, framework enhancements, and sustained control environment improvements within a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operational Risk or Non-Financial Risk within financial services.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and governance.
• Ability to assess framework outputs and escalate where needed.
• Experience engaging with business stakeholders and first-line risk teams.
• Experience delivering training and risk framework guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day 2LOD oversight and liaise with Life business areas and third parties.
• Serve as the primary Risk Framework contact for assigned areas and KCAs.
• Act as Life NFR SME for MetricStream usage and guidance.
• Oversee RCSA, Issues, Events, and Risk Acceptances with escalation.
• Design and deliver Risk Framework training and enhancements.
• Provide independent risk analysis to identify emerging issues.
• Support assurance reviews, governance outputs and control assessments.
• Coordinate with Risk and Compliance SMEs on actions and outcomes.
