Job summary

Registers of Scotland (RoS) is seeking a data-focused professional to advance data-driven methods, ML and AI across the business. You will work with multiple teams to unlock insights from land and property data, support data-driven decision making, and develop new data products and models.

The role is home/office hybrid with Glasgow and Edinburgh offices, permanent contract at SEO grade, and a generous benefits package including a 24% supplement, pension, and enhanced annual leave.

Qualifications

• Progressing adoption of data-driven methods, machine learning and AI across the business.
• Solve complex business problems by using semi-structured and structured data.
• Develop data products and models to support decision making.

Responsibilities

• Work with product managers, data engineers, analysts to identify and solve business problems.
• Train models and create data-driven tools and reports to improve data quality.
• Document methodologies to deliver reproducible, explainable work.
• Communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences using visuals and storytelling.
• Contribute to strategy development and team capability building.
