A residential care provider in Lewes is seeking a Senior Night Coach to provide reassurance and safety for children during the night. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare and experience with challenging behaviors. The role offers a salary 20% above the sector average along with extensive training and benefits, including private healthcare and pension schemes.
A Senior Night Coach at SuperCare provides reassurance, safety, and comfort while the children sleep. Nights can be unpredictable some children may rest peacefully, while others wake distressed, anxious, or in need of personal care. You\'ll be the steady presence who ensures that, even in the quiet hours, the children feel safe and understood. The home is proud of it's recent "Good" rating from Ofsted and is working toward achieving Outstanding!
You'll be responsible for overnight care and support, which includes:
Nights require patience, resilience, and a gentle presence. We\'re looking for people who are calm under pressure, able to handle challenging behaviour without judgment, and who can provide care with dignity and warmth - even at 3am.
Senior Coaches require either a Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, in order to bring experience and leadership to the night shift.
The young people in this home are non-verbal and using PECS/Makaton. There are young people with epilepsy (training provided) so experience specifically with these conditions would be great. Although this is the night shift the young people are incredibly active so energetic, compassionate and bubbly personalities are welcome to apply!
