Job summary

New Bradley Hall, run by Black Country Housing Group, seeks two permanent Senior Night Care Assistants to supervise the care team and coordinate care plans for a named group of residents in a dementia-focused setting.

Posts are 42 hours and 30 hours per week, requiring empathy, personal care delivery, and strict adherence to care plans and safeguarding standards. DBS enhanced check is required, visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience in a care environment.
• Knowledge of dementia care and age-related illnesses.
• Understanding of DOLS and mental capacity.
• Understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care team and assist with residents' care plans.
• Provide personal care to residents following individual care plans.
• Coordinate care plans for a named group of residents.
• Monitor residents' physical and mental wellbeing and report changes.
• Administer medications as prescribed and keep records.
• Comply with health and safety and Health & Social Care Act requirements.
• Keep residents' information confidential.
• Contribute to team meetings and training; support a positive environment.
• Uphold safeguarding and CQC standards.
• Liaise with other care professionals and support leisure activities for residents.
• Keep environment clean, pleasant and welcoming.
• Assist with meal service and resident support.
