Job summary

Hamilton Rest Home in Whitefield, United Kingdom, is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our warm, family-run team. This role offers 33 hours per week, working three 12-hour night shifts from 7.30pm to 7.30am with unpaid breaks of 1 hour spread across the night.

Qualifications

• Has experience in a care role and leadership of a shift.
• Level 3 qualification (preferable).
• Experience administering medication (preferable).
• Ability to maintain accurate care records and planning.
• Able to lead, coach, and motivate a team to deliver high-quality care.
• Kind, warm, and approachable.
• Works well independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and committed to high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Registered Manager.
• Supervise care services to ensure standards.
• Lead and support a team of Care Assistants.
• Monitor night-time care and maintain high-quality records.
• Administer medication and maintain care plans.
• Collaborate with families to ensure best outcomes.
