Hamilton Rest Home in Prestwich is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly team. This 33-hour weekly role involves three 12-hour night shifts from 7.30pm to 7.30am, with unpaid breaks of 1 hour spread throughout the night.

This is a dual role, where you will work 2 night shifts as a Senior and 1 night shift as a Care Assistant. When working as a Care Assistant, the hourly pay will be £13.45.

Qualifications

• Experience in care roles and leading a shift (essential).
• Level 3 qualification (preferable).
• Knowledge of medication administration (preferable).
• Ability to manage accurate care records and planning.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Reliable and committed to high standards of care and personal care.

Responsabilités

• Supervise care services in line with standards.
• Lead and support a team of Care Assistants during night shifts.
• Undertake training to maintain up-to-date practices.
• Monitor and provide person-centred care during night hours.
• Support personal care (washing, dressing, toileting).
• Administer medication and maintain care plans/records.
• Respond to concerns per policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families for best outcomes.
• Promote dignity, independence and wellbeing.
