Job summary

Crystal Care Collection in the United Kingdom is seeking a Night Senior Care Assistant to lead the night care team and deliver compassionate, person-centred care to residents. You will support the Night Care Team Leader, administer medications, review care plans and mentor colleagues while maintaining a calm, safe and respectful environment throughout the night.

Qualifications

• Holds, or is working towards, an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Has previous experience working as a Care Assistant within a residential or nursing environment.
• Is confident administering medication and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each resident's needs throughout the night.
• Assist the Night Care Team Leader in leading and coordinating the night care team.
• Act as a Key Worker for allocated residents and ensure care plans are implemented and updated.
• Safely administer medication and maintain accurate medication records.
• Review, update and contribute to individual care plans to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
• Mentor, support and develop less experienced colleagues, promoting best practice.
• Monitor residents' health and wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals and on-call managers to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain dignity, respect and confidentiality for every resident.
