Job summary

Magnolia Park, part of Stow Healthcare Group, is seeking a Senior Night Care Assistant to lead a small team and ensure high-quality personal care for residents. You will work with an experienced team, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor health and respond quickly to changes.

Join a friendly, supportive home focused on warm, respectful care and helping residents live fulfilling lives through evenings and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years+ experience in care is required.
• Experience administering medications and leading a care team is essential.
• Good written and spoken English is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants and coordinate daily care activities.
• Administer medications to residents in accordance with policies.
• Identify deteriorating residents and direct appropriate care.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Support residents to live fulfilling lives and participate in activities
• Available to work alternate weekends and maintain patient-centered care

• Supported by an experienced management team
• Leading a team of Care Assistants
• Responsibility for administering medication, identifying deteriorating residents and directing care
• Supporting residents to live fulfilling lives
• Offering kind and respectful care to elderly people needing support with personal care, mealtimes and activities
• Liaising with healthcare professionals
• Available to work alternate weekends

The skills you’ll need

• L2 Diploma in Health and Social Care with the ambition to achieve L3
• Minimum two year's experience in care
• Previous experience of administering medications and leading a team of Carers
• Flexibility, patience, caring attitude and a real 'people person'
• A good level of written and spoken English
