Job summary

myDNA is expanding at the University of Glasgow’s Clinical Innovation Zone, joining a 180-strong global team with over 20 years of experience.

You will execute complex NGS workflows—from library preparation to sequencer loading—while using automated liquid handlers and advanced diagnostic instrumentation. The role emphasizes pipeline excellence, quality compliance, and efficient lab operations in Glasgow.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of NGS workflows, library preparation and sequencing.
• Familiar with GLP, ISO 15189:2022 / UKAS, biosafety and UK GDPR guidelines.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel and experience with LIMS/QMS software.

Responsibilities

• Perform NGS library preparation, enrichment, and sequencing readiness tasks.
• Operate and maintain automated liquid handlers and diagnostic instruments.
• Review data and conduct QC assessments to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain rigorous lab records and inventory, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
