Job summary

The Council seeks a Network Telephony Engineer to manage and evolve the council's digital voice and data network infrastructure. You will design policies, oversee capacity and security, and ensure service levels align with business needs while delivering high quality user experiences.

You will drive continual service improvement, manage budgets, and coordinate changes across teams to support enterprise objectives and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise network experience with data and voice networks.
• Experience with network virtualization and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• CCNA level certification and hands-on firewall experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain network plans, policies, and architecture.
• Ensure security, capacity, resilience, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage SLA commitments and service performance for network services.
• Lead continuous service improvement and coordination with teams.
