Job summary

ASK4 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate software that powers our network platform. You will own significant workstreams, influence architectural decisions, and contribute to tooling and observability across the team.

You'll work on provisioning, monitoring, automation, and integration with various systems at scale. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and delivering production-grade software for managed connectivity products.

Qualifications

• Strong OO software fundamentals.
• Production-grade PHP experience (Symfony or similar).
• CI/CD experience (GitLab CI).
• Linux systems administration & IP networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain back-end systems for ASK4's network infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and automation tooling.
• End-to-end ownership of significant workstreams from requirements to production deployment.
• Drive architectural decisions, service decomposition, and integration patterns.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Helm charts, and Kubernetes configurations for production and non-production environments.
• Integrate with network management systems, message brokers, and third-party APIs.
• Instrument and monitor applications using observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry).
• Provide mentorship to mid-level engineers and escalate complex problems.
• Contribute to development standards and shared tooling across engineering teams.
