Job summary

Nscale seeks a Principal Network Platform Lead to transform its global backbone and edge network into a programmable, scalable service platform. You will own the architecture, orchestrate services, and build customer‑facing APIs in collaboration with Product, Network Architecture, and regional teams.

You'll lead a hands‑on technical team, write production software, and mentor engineers while acting as the technical authority for network programmability and ecosystem integration.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading platform or network automation teams.
• Strong software engineering background with modern tooling and CI/CD.
• Experience designing production networks with APIs and automation.
• Excellent collaboration across product, engineering, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, roadmap, and operation of the Network Platform.
• Define platform strategy for service orchestration, API enablement, and integrations.
• Lead design of network control plane and partner ecosystem integrations.
• Mentor engineers and set engineering standards for reliability and efficiency.
• Drive automation-first practices across the network organisation.
