Job summary

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) seeks a Product Specialist for Infrastructure Services - Networks to lead delivery of critical network solutions. You will work within Product Delivery Teams to design, build, test, deploy and improve digital services supporting emergency care in London.

The role requires strong networking expertise, experience with hybrid connectivity and security, and willingness to provide out-of-hours on-call support. A minimum 40% onsite presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in IT or equivalent senior technical management experience.
• ItIL Foundation level or equivalent within 6 months.
• Experience delivering network services for critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create new services aligned to the Digital and Data strategic plan.
• Contribute to design, development, build, test and delivery of all services in area of expertise.
• Design and plan complex technical architectures and blueprints.
• Provide technical knowledge and subject matter expertise advising staff across the Trust.
• Support LAS-wide Digital and Data Services projects.
• Mobilise new systems and technologies into day-to-day use.
• Work with operational and corporate teams to upgrade existing solutions.
• Proactively enhance and develop existing digital solutions.
• Implement system upgrades with testing and rollback arrangements.
