Job summary

Claremont Consulting Solutions Ltd is seeking a senior network engineer to anchor the firm's global networks capability within a latency-sensitive, 24x7 trading environment. You will own connectivity across sites and cloud, ensuring resilience and optimal pathing for trading activities.

Lead on automation of network configuration, monitoring and validation, mentor engineers as the team grows, and collaborate with teams in other regions to set global standards and follow-the-Sun coverage.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise or data-centre networking, ideally in trading or another latency-sensitive setting.
• Deep routing and switching (BGP, OSPF), Firewalls (Palo Alto) and secure web (Zscaler)
• Network automation (Python, Ansible) and monitoring
• A calm, rigorous approach to operating trading-critical infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Own network operations and change across the firm's sites and cloud
• Lead on resilience, low-latency connectivity and incident response for trading-critical paths
• Drive automation of network configuration, monitoring and validation
• Partner with teams in other regions on global standards and follow-the-Sun coverage
• Mentor engineers as the wider team grows
