Job summary

Millennium’s Information Technology organization supports the firm’s active, multi-manager model with flexible, scalable technology and advanced proprietary systems. The role focuses on engineering low-latency network solutions for trading and market data, balancing project delivery with operational support.

You will own global network projects from requirements gathering to deployment, lead evaluation of new technologies, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in network engineering in a global environment.
• Hands-on expertise in low-latency networks and routing protocols.
• Experience with Arista/Cisco hardware and high-performance compute.
• Strong time synchronization knowledge (PTP, White Rabbit, PPS).
• Proficient in Python, Bash and Ansible for automation.
• Experience applying AI/ML to network performance and analytics.
• Proficient in Prometheus/Grafana telemetry for monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Engineer low-latency network solutions for trading and market data.
• Own global network projects from design through deployment.
• Evaluate new network technologies and cost analyses.
• Configure and maintain critical network hardware and software.
• Design highly available, low-latency data networks.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot infrastructure; participate in on-call rotation.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and policies.
