A rapidly growing ISP is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to step into a pivotal role, replacing a long-standing team member of 9 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned networking professional to take on technical leadership responsibilities while working with cutting-edge ISP technologies.

Role Overview:

1. Provide escalation support for the internal support desk
2. Mentor and support the Senior Network Support Engineer
3. 50/50 core networking focus, 80/20 customer-facing work
4. Interest in cybersecurity is a plus – contribute to new service offerings
5. Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud and infrastructure technologies (HP Servers, VMware, Wintel)
6. Juniper core – L2/L3 VPNs
7. Cisco ASR Engineers will also be considered

Ideal Candidate:

1. JNCIP-level knowledge (certification is a plus but not essential)
2. Remote-first role – occasional meetups in Manchester (twice per year)
3. Ideally based in the North UK (Birmingham/Manchester area)

Remote (North UK – Birmingham/Manchester area preferred)
