Job summary

Infoplus Technologies UK Limited in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Network Source of Truth, NetBox, automation and reliability to lead enterprise data practices.

You will expand NetBox as the authoritative data model, design automated discovery, and integrate with ServiceNow CMDB/ITSM, while collaborating with Ops, Security and ITSM teams. This contract role focuses on building a strategic roadmap toward Network SRE practices and proactive monitoring.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in enterprise network data governance and NetBox as authoritative source of record.
• Hands-on with automation tooling and scripting for network operations.
• Proven track record in designing scalable network data models and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve the network data landscape, data quality and integrations.
• Develop and enhance NetBox for inventory and lifecycle management.
• Establish NetBox as the trusted source of record for assets, topology and IP addressing.
• Design automated discovery and data‑assurance capabilities.
• Integrate NetBox with ITSM/CMDB platforms, including ServiceNow.
• Automate network discovery, compliance reporting and configuration validation.
• Expand network automation using Python, Ansible, REST APIs and Terraform.
