Job summary

La-Fosse-1 is seeking a Network Engineer in Southampton to support and enhance an enterprise network across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role is hands-on, ensuring high availability, security, and performance while supporting BAU operations and projects.

The role requires strong Cisco-based skills, experience with firewalls, VPNs, wireless and ITIL processes. A hybrid working model is offered with on-site presence in Southampton.

Qualifications

Strong experience in enterprise network environments.
Cisco-focused networking expertise including routing & switching, Nexus.

Responsibilities

Monitor and optimise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, cloud and hybrid environments.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and act as escalation point for major incidents.
Design and implement network solutions for routing, switching, security and connectivity.
Maintain high availability and resilience across the network estate.
Contribute to RCA and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support network change activity per governance and security policies.
Collaborate with IT teams to support projects and BAU delivery.
Document network architecture and best practices.
