Job summary

Universal Music Group is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join the Network Build Team. The role focuses on ownership and delivery of infrastructure projects, large deployments and migrations, and mentoring junior engineers to strengthen the team.

The candidate will have CCNP or higher, routing & switching and security expertise, with deep knowledge of BGP/OSPF, IPSEC/VPN, Cisco Nexus, and SD-WAN. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• CCNP or higher in routing and switching preferred.
• Engineering/Architect level experience in routing and security.
• In-depth knowledge of BGP and OSPF, including iBGP/eBGP.
• Experience with IPSEC, VPN and SSL VPN implementations.
• Cisco Nexus platforms with virtualization and Spine-Leaf knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate network enhancements and deployment efforts.
• Develop and implement migration plans for large networks.
• Design configurations for network and security devices.
• Install network equipment and hand over to ops teams.
• Ensure project documentation is complete and aligns with ITIL.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across teams.
• Collaborate with service providers for delivery and testing.
