Qualifications

• CCNP level knowledge required.
• Strong routing and switching experience.
• Hands-on with firewalls and VPNs.
• Wireless networking experience desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Full UK driving license.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (PRTG, Wireshark, NetFlow).
• Exposure to automation or scripting (Python) beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and document network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, wireless, and security.
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and related technologies.
• Provide technical escalation and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Conduct network assessments and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers on projects.
• Occasional out-of-hours work and on-call rotations.

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• CCNP level knowledge (or equivalent experience)
• Strong routing and switching experience (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, QoS)
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and VPN technologies
• Wireless experience (Catalyst and/or Meraki desirable)
• Confident troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Full UK driving license
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g. PRTG, Wireshark, NetFlow)
• Exposure to automation or scripting (Python, etc.) would be beneficial
