Job summary

Addition in Farnborough is seeking a Senior Network Automation Engineer to lead automation across enterprise LAN/WAN and data center. You will design, build and implement automation using Python, Ansible and Terraform, and mentor colleagues.

You will collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver scalable, secure network solutions, manage centralised platforms like Cisco Catalyst Center, and participate in on-call operations to ensure high availability. SC clearance eligible.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering network automation across enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with Python, Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience implementing or contributing to network automation transformation programmes.
• Knowledge of centralised network management and orchestration platforms, such as Cisco Catalyst Center.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, including routing, switching and network security.
• Experience developing reusable automation frameworks, templates and standards.
• CCNP certification or equivalent commercial experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.
