Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Senior Network Automation Engineer / Software Developer to lead automation strategies for our enterprise networks. Bromley or Chester offices offer scale, impact, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will design, build and operate automation platforms, APIs and orchestration solutions, blending networking expertise with modern software engineering practices to drive reliable, scalable infrastructure-as-code across global services.

Qualifications

Extensive experience developing network automation solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
Strong software engineering background with proven Python development expertise.
Experience delivering automation platforms that support production infrastructure.
Demonstrable experience across both networking and software engineering disciplines.
Experience designing, building and operating scalable API-driven services.

Responsibilities

Design and develop automation solutions for enterprise network provisioning and lifecycle operations.
Build Python-based services, APIs and microservices that support network service delivery.
Develop reusable automation frameworks for scalable infrastructure deployment.
Create REST APIs and service integrations enabling self-service and automation.
Lead architecture decisions and mentor engineers on Python and networking technologies.
