Job summary

Ryan is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to architect, design and manage all facets of network administration, telephony, and video systems across multiple locations. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure high availability, performance and security, and drive infrastructure projects.

The role requires a solid track record in network engineering, security, MPLS, WAN optimization, and unified communications, with hands-on mentoring and cross-location collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology field and relevant qualifications.
• 7+ years of networking engineering experience in medium to large multi-location company.
• 15+ years of technical support experience in similar environments.
• Ability to train others quickly and thoroughly on networking concepts.
• Security management experience including firewall configurations, IDS configuration, and audit reporting.
• Experience with MPLS vendors and WAN optimization.
• Experience using network management and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with designing multi-location architecture.
• Unified communications experience is a plus.
• Adherence to Incident and Change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and manage all facets of network administration, telephone systems, and video administration.
• Provide day-to-day support within the Network and Telecommunications department.
• Lead infrastructure projects spanning multiple technologies beyond networking.
• Deliver multiple projects with strong time management and leadership.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and work with developers on fixes.
• Cross-train IT staff and provide 3rd-level support.
• Support and assist Service Desk as needed; on-call duties rotate.
