Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. seeks a Senior Network Engineer to architect, design, and manage Ryan’s network, telephony, and video systems across multiple locations.

The role ensures high availability, performance, and security of the infrastructure and will be the top technical expert for the Network team. Responsibilities include delivering cross-functional projects, providing advanced support, and guiding IT staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field.
• 7+ years networking engineering experience in a multi-location environment.
• 15+ years of technical support experience.
• Ability to train others quickly and thoroughly on key networking concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Security management experience including firewall configurations and IDS.
• Experience with MPLS vendors and WAN optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver infrastructure projects that span beyond network technologies.
• Provide 3rd level support and assist Service Desk as needed.
• Perform on-call duties on a rotational basis.
• Architect, develops, and maintains Ryan's network infrastructure inventory and roadmap.
• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with developers to fix issues.
• Lead multiple projects with strong time management and leadership.
• Ensure security and compliance with audits and incident/change governance.
