Job summary

CHAOS Industries in London is hiring a Senior Network Administrator to own the secure network behind a UK defence programme, from architecture to day-to-day operations. The role is on-site with a salary range of £70,000–£85,000 plus pre-IPO stock options.

You will design, deploy, and maintain secure networks across classified and unclassified environments, manage Palo Alto firewalls and Aruba infrastructure, and drive zero-trust and segmentation implementations while ensuring RMF/STIG compliance

Qualifications

• 8+ years in network administration in enterprise or DoD environments.
• Hands-on Palo Alto experience (NGFW, Panorama, VPNs) required.
• Hands-on Aruba experience (switching, wireless, ClearPass) required.
• Strong TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs and VPNs expertise.
• Experience in classified environments (SIPR/NIPR or equivalent).
• Familiarity with RMF, NIST 800-53 and STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain secure networks across classified and unclassified environments.
• Run Palo Alto firewalls (PAN-OS, Panorama, GlobalProtect) and Aruba switching, wireless and ClearPass.
• Implement segmentation, zero-trust and policy enforcement.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot complex issues and support incident response.
• Handle vulnerability remediation, RMF/STIG compliance and system accreditation (ATO).
