Job summary

Publicis Groupe in London is seeking a Network and Security Engineer to support our IT Infrastructure Network and Security Operations across multiple sites and countries.

The role is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days remote; you will manage Level 2/3 network and security operations, lead projects, and drive initiatives to ensure high service levels.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Level 2/3 network support experience.
• 8+ years configuring Check Point firewalls and VPNs.
• 8+ years designing Layer 3 networks across sites/countries.
• Experience managing network devices and switches.
• Strong Linux background and IPv4/IPv6 skills.
• Familiar with spine-and-leaf, VPN tunnels, OSPF, and BGP.
• Bachelor's degree or higher; CCNA required, CCNP preferred.
• Experience in media/entertainment sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• We require 8+ years of experience supporting Level 2 help desk tickets for network and security operations.
• We require 8+ years of experience installing and configuring Check Point firewalls, setting up VPNs, and performing routine upgrades.
• We require 8+ years of experience designing and supporting Layer 3 networks across multiple sites in multiple countries.
• We require 8+ years of experience managing network switches and other network devices.
• We require 8+ years of experience monitoring security devices and applications for performance issues and providing troubleshooting support.
• We require a solid Linux background and understanding.
• We require knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 subnetting.
• We require knowledge of fundamental networking design in a multi-site enterprise environment, including spine and leaf topology, site-to-site VPLS, multi-site SOHO VPN tunnels, OSPF, and BGP routing.
• We require a Bachelors degree or advanced degree.
• We require Cisco certification; CCNA is mandatory and CCNP is preferable.
• Check Point and Arista certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience in the media and entertainment business is a plus.
• Existing IT support skills and experience commensurate with the role are required.

• We act as the primary point of contact for Internet Service Providers regarding maintenance, troubleshooting, outages, and service upgrades.
• We handle multiple high-priority, time-sensitive deliverables in a dynamic, multi-vendor environment.
• We support multiple offices in the area and remote offices in other time zones and countries.
• We may travel as required.
• We may need to lift and rack equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.
