Job summary

Nexus Jobs in City of London is seeking a Network Support Analyst with Cisco CCNA for a permanent full-time role. You will join the Infrastructure team to manage BAU network support, security, and migrations, working on perimeter to DMZ firewall design and European IPS deployments.

Responsibilities

• We support and deliver all aspects of services within the Infrastructure team.

• We contribute to the design, build, and implementation of firewall solutions from perimeter to DMZ roles.
• We support IPS deployment for European sites.
• We develop, maintain, and deliver global standards to all networking devices.

Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require at least 5 years of proven track record in a network support role.
• We require Cisco CCNA certification.
• We require in-depth knowledge of Cisco firewalls, switches, and routing protocols.
• We require in-depth knowledge of supporting a datacentre with branch interconnectivity (LES circuits).
• We require experience working within mission-critical environments.
• We require experience in operational deployments.
• We require the ability to maintain industry-recognised skills through training and self-study.
• We consider security certification advantageous.
• We require knowledge of VPN technologies, including IPSEC.

Responsibilities:

• We support and deliver all aspects of services within the Infrastructure team.
• We provide BAU support across networks, telephony, PABX, voice recording, desk moves, and changes.
• We support annual Disaster Recovery invoking and testing.
• We contribute to the design, build, and implementation of firewall solutions from perimeter to DMZ roles.
• We support IPS deployment for European sites.
• We develop, maintain, and deliver global standards to all networking devices.
• We interpret network security reports.
• We assist with the seamless migration of the network estate to a newly adopted security framework.
• We facilitate internal and external audits and penetration testing remediation.
• We support treasury solutions such as IPC turrets.
• We diagnose, assist others, and remediate BAU support issues.
• We maintain documentation and networking diagrams for support and internal audits.
• We support root cause analysis.

We are seeking a Network Support Analyst with Cisco CCNA for a permanent full-time role based in the City of London, close to Liverpool Street. This position sits within our infrastructure team and focuses on BAU support with involvement in the design of scalable solutions delivered through projects. The salary range is 45,000 to 55,000 plus banking benefits.
