Job summary

TransPerfect is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the quality, development, and execution of our software products. You will join the TechOps team with a global presence and collaborate across product, QA, design, and other developers to translate requirements into robust solutions.

You will engage in all phases of development, focusing on secure, scalable code, APIs for web and mobile, and mentoring junior engineers while staying current on industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, building scalable systems.
• Extensive knowledge of .NET, C#, LINQ, EF, and related technologies.
• Experience using REST APIs and web services for integration.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop in all phases of application development with a focus on secure coding.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient web and mobile APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, designers, and other developers.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance and scalability.
• Implement security best practices to protect data and systems.
• Develop automated tests with QA/Automation engineers.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Document support procedures and stay updated on tech trends.
