Job summary

Hippo is a rapidly growing digital consultancy. We are seeking a Senior .Net Developer to join our Hippo Herd in delivering transformative digital solutions for public and private sector clients.

You will lead technical delivery within a squad, mentoring others and driving best practices across development and deployment. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to build secure, scalable systems and mentor engineers, while championing agile methodologies and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Excellent experience in the .Net ecosystem, particularly with C# and ASP.NET MVC.
• Proven track record of leading a delivery team to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Extensive experience in full development lifecycle delivering user-centred digital solutions.
• Strong experience with JavaScript libraries/frameworks (Node, React, Angular).
• Deep knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and Microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of user-centred software based on business requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to design and deliver complex client solutions.
• Manage software development and deployment pipelines, preempting bottlenecks.
• Present prototypes, solutions, and progress clearly to stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and support consultants in their professional development.
• Promote Hippo’s Engineering Herd through knowledge sharing, workshops or blogs.
