Job summary

ARC Regulatory Ltd. in Belfast is seeking a Software Engineer to join the technology team, delivering cloud-based software solutions for precision medicine clinical trials using C# and .NET.

You will collaborate with product managers and designers, design SQL Server databases, build APIs and deploy Azure services, contributing across the full development lifecycle. The role offers a hybrid working model, exposure to AI-enabled platforms, and impact on global clinical research.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core in cloud environments.
• Strong SQL Server database design and optimization skills.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud services and related dev tools.
• Experience designing APIs and microservices architectures.
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices experience.
• Interest in applying AI ideas to software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET and .NET Core.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and developers to translate requirements into practical software solutions.
• Design and manage SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Develop and integrate APIs to enable communication between applications and services.
• Implement and maintain Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Storage).
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Contribute to process improvements across development tools and workflows.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies to support ARC’s software development.
