Job summary

Cox Automotive Europe, via Manheim Vehicle Services (MVS), is modernising a large-scale .NET platform into a cloud-native AWS ecosystem. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to influence design decisions, champion testing and automation, and drive delivery of scalable services.

You will join a hybrid team working across Leeds, Manchester, or Bruntingthorpe, contributing to architectural evolution and AI-enabled development practices while supporting production systems and continuous

Qualifications

Strong commercial experience with .NET / .NET Core & Docker.
Experience building applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
A passion for clean code, testing and engineering best practice.
Experience with APIs, distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
An understanding of CI/CD, Agile delivery, BDD and/or TDD.

Responsibilities

Design, build and deploy scalable applications using modern .NET technologies.
Help migrate a legacy .NET Framework monolith into AWS-native services and microservices.
Develop robust APIs and event-driven solutions.
Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
Champion engineering excellence through automated testing, CI/CD and modern development practices.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed, quality and consistency.
Take ownership from design through to production support and continuous improvement.
