Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join the DDC Group and help design, build and maintain critical client applications across a range of technologies including C#, .NET Core, and Azure.

You will contribute to end-to-end delivery, modernise legacy systems, manage CI/CD pipelines, perform code reviews, and mentor peers while embracing AI-assisted tooling and governance best practices. Flexible/remote working options available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in .NET development.
• Strong C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core experience.
• JavaScript and MS SQL Server proficiency.
• Experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM.
• CI/CD pipelines experience (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Manual deployment via IIS Manager.
• Familiar with the Microsoft stack and Azure services.
• Git/GitHub version control experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and EF Core.
• Design, build, and support distributed APIs and multi‑tier integrations.
• Modernise legacy applications using MVC, Microservices, or Event‑Driven patterns.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and production release processes.
• Apply unit testing and TDD (xUnit, NUnit, Moq).
• Work with Azure cloud services as part of delivery.
• Provide documentation and peer code reviews to ensure quality.
• Mentor teammates and promote governance around AI tools.
