Job summary

London-based energy trading technology role seeking a C# .NET Developer to modernise a Front Office ETRM platform. You will work in an Agile team using .NET 8, Azure and on‑premise tech to deliver scalable, low-latency trading solutions across Power, Gas and Emissions markets.

The role involves collaborating with traders, quants and tech teams to design the platform architecture and support real-time market events in a high-pressure environment. Hybrid on-site in London.

Qualifications

• Experience in Front Office Energy Trading, ETRM or real-time trading platforms.
• Strong C# .NET development experience delivering high-performance trading applications.
• Extensive hands-on with .NET 8, LINQ and Entity Framework.
• Strong SQL Server experience for high-volume trading databases.
• Experience designing low-latency, event-driven architectures using Kafka or Solace.
