Searchability in York is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to help migrate our Windows Forms-based client to a web-based platform within a microservices architecture. The role requires strong command of C# and the .NET Core stack, and collaboration with product owners and our application team.

You will work two days per week onsite in York, enjoy flexible hours with core 10am-3pm, and benefit from 25 days holiday, healthcare, free parking, and a range of development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C# and the .NET Core tech stack.
• Experience with REST APIs using ASP.NET Core.
• Ability to write unit tests and follow test-driven development.
• Experience with SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of Windows Forms features to a web-based microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with product owners and application developers to understand existing codebase.
• Design, implement and refine services in the new architecture.
