Job summary

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust in Peterborough is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Highly Specialist Physiotherapist to lead neonatal paediatric physiotherapy within the neonatal unit and SCBU.

You will deliver developmentally informed care for high-risk infants, supervise junior staff, and drive service development across sites, with a strong emphasis on audit, governance and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
• Post-graduate training in paediatrics/neonatal care.
• NHS experience at a senior level in paediatric/ neonatal settings.
• Clinical experience on a neonatal unit and with preterm/high-risk infants.
• Experience working in a MDT and contributing to audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead neonatal paediatric physiotherapy service development across sites.
• Assess and treat a complex neonatal caseload and guide treatment plans.
• Provide supervision and training to junior staff and students.
• Deliver developmentally informed care and participate in governance and audits.
