Job summary

Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions Ltd seeks a Senior NDT Inspector for a permanent, full-time role in Thirsk. You will lead NDT activities across UT, MPI, PT and VT, ensuring compliance with BS EN ISO, AWS and ASME standards and mentoring junior staff.

Day and night shifts are available with competitive hourly rates (£26.22–£30) and a benefits package including pension and medical cover.

Qualifications

• CSWIP 3.0 certification or above is required.
• PCN Level 2 for MPI/Mt & Ultrasonic (3.1, 3.2, 3.7) is required.
• Proven NDT experience in heavy manufacturing is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all NDT activities during shifts, ensuring timely inspections.
• Conduct and oversee UT, MPI, PT and VT techniques per standards.
• Review, interpret and apply BS EN ISO, AWS and ASME specifications.
• Validate inspection reports for clarity, accuracy and traceability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior inspectors and technicians.
