A leading defence contractor is looking for a Senior Combat Systems Engineer to assist in designing and developing complex systems for maritime applications. Qualifications
- HNC/HND in an engineering or scientific discipline, or equivalent.
- Experience of system physical and functional integration in a regulated environment.
- Preference for candidates already professionally registered.
Responsibilities
- Assist with complex designs and compartment layouts.
- Provide support to installation and trials activities.
- Investigate system obsolescence of ship installed parts.
Skills
Understanding of System Engineering design lifecycle
System physical and functional integration
HNC/HND in engineering or scientific discipline
Education
Academic qualification in Engineering or related STEM subjects
Recognition as an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer
