We are super excited to announce that we are now looking for a high calibre Senior National Account Manager to join our Head Office team on a 12-month Maternity cover contract!
The purpose of the role is to manage our department store channels across the UK & IE in order to meet sales targets, and other objectives with focus on key account management, profitability, and sales growth.
You will also be responsible for:
- Developing relationships with key retail partners to influence brand positioning, distribution, and brand awareness.
- Maximising the potential of existing partners & onboarding potential new partners.
- Negotiating and unlocking opportunities to drive incremental wholesale revenue, exploring secondary space opportunities, and optimising sell-in.
- Taking ownership of the forecasting process per account, factoring in NPD and marketing initiatives.
- Directing, coaching, and supporting the team in effective key account management and pushing sales targets by developing the right competencies and efficient working methods.
- Liaising with local and central Marketing Teams to create full 360 marketing plans per account in line with key commercial moments and ensuring they are executed to the highest standards.
- Liaising with the Central Head Office team in the Netherlands to ensure that the UK & IE wholesale agenda is met and the Selective Distribution Strategy is fully implemented by partners.
- Leading the training plan for frontline teams with the local training team and Account Managers.
- Attending retailer conferences/roadshows and being the face and voice of Rituals.
You'll make an impact in the business by:
- Driving gross and retail sales growth in a profitable and sustainable manner.
- Developing and influencing retailer partner relationships to maximise sales opportunities, build brand awareness, and visibility.
- Working in a full 360 manner with retailer teams to include buying, supply, marketing, training, and .com functions.
- When appropriate, proposing new locations or upgrading the selling environment in each partner location.
- Maximising stock availability for partners through planning for success and liaising continuously with our partners and customer fulfillment team in CHO.
- Ensuring that Account Managers are focused on delivering the account strategy for each location and building effective relationships at a local level with partner teams.
Your main result areas will be:
- Ensuring business objectives, sales targets, and profitability are achieved.
- Management of the marketing budget.
- Supporting the coordinator and Account Managers to help them achieve their targets.
- Challenging accounts to maximise our brand locations & position in stores.
Your experience:
- At least 5-8 years of experience working in the beauty/wellbeing sector, ideally with a large FMCG business.
- Extensive experience working with large, multiple retailers.
- Demonstrable sales success, ideally with a beauty brand in the UK/ Ireland.
- Experience in creating 360 plans with key UK-based multiple retailers.
- Strong analytical mindset with extensive knowledge of using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong experience of using and understanding retailer sales reporting systems, managing the supply chain, and creating 360 account plans.
- Leading, managing, and developing individuals.
- Experience of working in a matrix organization would be advantageous.
